Goats in the City Inc. is an Ontario-based prescribed grazing and land restoration company. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through goatsinthecity.ca and related forms.

We collect information you choose to give us through our forms:

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number, city or region.
• Property and project details submitted through the Request a Quote form, including site size, vegetation type, access notes, and timing.
• Event and program inquiries, including preferred dates and group information.
• Franchise applications, including your experience, available land or equipment, and investment readiness.
• Goat rehoming and Goat Haven intake submissions, including information about the animals and photographs you upload.
• Newsletter and shop early-access sign-ups: email address only.

We also collect basic technical information such as pages visited and general device type, used only to keep the site working and improve it.

• To respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, or schedule a site assessment.
• To review franchise applications and rehoming requests.
• To send project news, herd updates, and shop announcements when you have asked to receive them.
• To keep records of the work we perform for municipalities, conservation partners, and private landowners.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Photos submitted with a rehoming or intake request are stored privately and used only to assess the animals and plan their care. They are not published without your permission.

Form submissions are stored in a secured database with access limited to Goats in the City staff. We use reputable service providers for hosting, database storage, and email. Those providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Inquiry and quote records are kept while the opportunity is active and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up and record-keeping. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

• Unsubscribe from any email using the link in that email.
• Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete your information.

Our site and forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Educational programs for schools and youth groups are arranged with the supervising organization.
