Agreement
By using goatsinthecity.ca you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and, for merchandise, our Return and Refund Policy.
Services, quotes, and bookings
- Requests submitted through the site are inquiries, not confirmed bookings. Work begins only after a written quote or service agreement is accepted by both parties.
- Quotes are estimates based on the information provided and may change after a site assessment.
- Grazing schedules depend on weather, terrain, animal welfare, and site conditions. We may reschedule or pause work when conditions are unsafe for the herd or our Eco-Shepherds.
- Either party may cancel a scheduled project according to the terms of the signed service agreement. Deposits and cancellation windows are set out in that agreement.
- Site owners are responsible for disclosing hazards, chemical applications, and restricted areas before the herd arrives.
Animal welfare
Our herd comes first. We reserve the right to end or refuse work at any site where conditions place the animals at risk, including extreme heat, toxic vegetation, unsafe fencing, or uncontrolled dogs.
Site information and availability
We work to keep the content on this site accurate, but project descriptions, results, availability, pricing, and news links may change or contain errors. Content is provided for general information and is not a warranty or guarantee of results. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the site.
Copyright and use of our content
All text, photography, video, logos, and design on this site are owned by Goats in the City Inc. or used with permission from the photographers, municipalities, and media outlets credited on the page.
- Media and press may reproduce images and clips for coverage of Goats in the City with credit to Goats in the City and to the named photographer where one is credited.
- Non-commercial educational use with attribution is welcome; please tell us where it will appear.
- Commercial use, resale, adaptation, or use in AI training datasets requires written permission.
- Our name, logo, and Eco-Herd and Eco-Shepherd branding may not be used to imply partnership or endorsement without written consent.
Acceptable use
When using our forms, comments, or any account features, you agree not to:
- Break any law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Post hateful, harassing, threatening, or defamatory content.
- Send spam, advertising, or unsolicited promotions.
- Submit false information, impersonate another person, or upload photos you do not have the right to share.
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its data.
We may remove content and suspend or disable access or accounts that breach these rules.
Merchandise
Shop items are subject to availability and to our Return and Refund Policy. Product photography and mockups are representative; colours and finishes may vary slightly on final production runs.
Third-party links
We link to news coverage, municipal pages, and social platforms we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Goats in the City Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website or reliance on its content. Liability for contracted services is governed by the signed service agreement for that project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
Changes
We may update these terms as our services evolve. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
